    Toni Nagy is the owner of SideStream Studio. She teaches contemporary, hip hop, belly dance, and is also a somatic movement practitioner who hosts workshops all over the world to help people connect to their bodies, release trauma, and reframe emotional stagnation. Toni graduated from Sarah Lawrence College where she majored in dance and philosophy. After college, Toni studied dance throughout her 20's with some of the most well acclaimed teachers and choreographers in New York City focusing on modern, contemporary, and hip hop. Toni also has vast yoga training, anatomy training, energetic healing training, and has been a performer for the past 2 decades. All her artistic endeavors have an element of social justice and political commentary.

    Outside of the Studio - Toni is a filmmaker, writer, comedian, and political activist. Toni Nagy is also a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and content creator most known for her viral videos where she interpretive dances her philosophies, spiritual curiosity, and political rants while pontificating, gyrating, and questioning culture. She penetrates consciousnesses and goes deep into your psyche. She has over 1 million followers across her social media platforms, not that she's counting or anything. Toni has been a nationally touring stand-up comic for the past decade. She takes her audiences on a wild ride of compassionate inquiry, radical self-reflection, and absurd metaphors. She says it all, baring her soul by stripping back all social convention. Toni believes authentic vulnerability is crucial to comedy as well as collective healing. 

    Toni Teaches Energize Into Equality Tuesdays at 4:15 pm.

    Toni teaches Hip-Hop Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and Thursdays at 5:30 pm.

    Toni teaches Contemporary Dance Thursdays at 4 pm.

  • A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and Western Michigan University with a specialty in dance, Francesca Bourgault finds herself at home both on and back stage, primarily as a performer, instructor, and lighting designer. In February of 2018 she was invited to perform burlesque for the first time at the Stone Church during a Brattleboro Queer Dance Party Cabaret and has continued to dive head first into the wonderfully weird world of neo burlesque. Her stage persona, Patty Cake, is a smoldering 1950s housewife who is ready to melt your clothes off. When not performing as Patty Cake, Francesca currently teaches burlesque, produces Brattleboro Queer Dance Parties, designs lights and sounds for the New England Youth Theater, and teaches dance to the Professional Track students of the New England Center for Circus Arts.
